Plaque Talk

Current Procedure: We have three plaques (one fore each sport) with 10 engravable nameplates. Winner of the respective league takes possession of the plaque and their name is engraved on the next plate. $5 of the $25 dues are reserved for plaque maintenance and shipping.

New Proposal #1: Winner of each league will be offered a choice of either 1) an individual engraved plaque or 2) a $15 boost to their existing prize money. Existing plaques will be collected and maintained by Drew at no expense to the league.

New Proposal #2: No plaques, decrease dues to $20.

Post any thoughts you may have, especially if you feel strongly either way. If there isn't sufficient opposition to Proposal #1, that's the direction we're going.

I like the possible boost to prize money.

I am saddened by the departing of our traveling plaques, but I'm a geek who liked that whole Stanley Cup feel (Bridging the gap here Tomke).

#1 is fine if people are not interested in this whole process.

I was a fan of the traveling plaque. I'm probably never going to win a league though - so it's a moot point.

I vote for no changes to the current system.

Well, if I ever win another league title, you guys can have a raffle and the winner can display my plaque.
