Keeper Musings

I'm bored as hell and I don't know how else to cope with the aptly named one's departure from VU Athletics.

-5 teams have multiple players from one NFL Franchise
-Only 4 first round draft picks from last season are keepers this year; only 3 for the team that drafted them
-13 of the 50 keepers are with their original franchise without ever leaving. (L. Tomlinson, R. Johnson, D. Brees, E. James, S. Jackson, W. McGahee, M. Harrison, T. Gonzalez, D. McNabb, J. Lewis, S. Alexander, K. Jones, P. Manning)
-Ed, Eli and Lincoln are the only teams with 3 repeat keepers
-Viano and Champ are the only charter franchises with one repeat keeper
-Marc Bulger is one of his official keepers, though may never play a down for JR
-Eli drafted Stephen Jackson and Willis McGahee in rounds 15 and 17, resp. of the inaugural draft
-Baron is the only owner to keep both a player he traded for, as well as the player he gave up for said player.
-Baron has 3 players coming off of season-ending injuries
-Tomke is the only owner to keep 5 players that he did not draft (edit: Champ did not draft any of his current keepers either)
-Ed is the only owner to have all 5 keepers play for his squad during both the 2004 and 2005 campaigns
-Drew's team is the only team that does not have a player that is on his original NFL team
-Stem's 2005 redraft netted 3 keepers; the most of all 10 franchises
-Willie Parker and Eli Manning are the only keepers never to have been drafted
-Viano is the only owner to have all his keepers come from one conference (AFC)
-The only two players not kept from the 1st round of our first draft were once traded for one another (Priest Holmes and Ahman Green)
